Veterinary receptionist – full-time

We are looking for a full-time vet receptionist to join our great team.

The successful candidate must have previous experience with face-to-face & telephone customer service, a high attention to detail and the ability to mutli-task & prioritise efficiently. You will need to e able to communicate and liase with your colleagues as well as working using your own initiative.

The role includes:

-Greeting clients at the reception desk and helping them with their enquiries

-Answering telephone calls, taking & following up messages

-Requesting & taking payments

-Booking appointments/surgeries/home visits/farm visits and entering on our computer system

-General administrative tasks

-Dispensing medicines for pet owners & farm clients

-Ensuring the reception and waiting room area is kept clean, tidy and well-stocked

Working hours are full-time, 40 hours per week + some Saturday mornings (9am-1pm) on a rota basis.

Client service is a top priority and we would like the person to be empathetic towards our patients.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an interesting and varied receptionist role. Previous experience of animals/having pets/veterinary practice is an advantage.

Training will be provided.
